1) Sand the table top edges round to prevent splinters. 2) The top surface of the table should be finished to protect against the weather. Here's a couple of options for finishing: (a) Cover the top surface with Formica. (b) Paint the top with a couple of coats of Polyurathane varnish. (c) Use an outdoor deck weather sealer. (d) Use a Marine varnish. |
